But I, too, am not a huge fan of the phrase, "Love on," but I accidentally heard myself saying it the other day and it was worse hearing myself say it. I've been indoctrinated without knowing it!

But let's see ... the word 'hair' when said just right reminds me too much of the part in Blair Witch where she was "covered in hair" (pronounced hee-air). *Shivers.*

The word gnarly. I heard a chef us it on Extreme Chef the other day and it was so ick. I don't know that it was ever a good word unless one is describing something that is actually gnarled up like an old Blair witch-y kind of tree or something.

Oddly, the word, fresh. I think back in the day, I had a friend of mine who insisted on singing the word 'phresh' about almost everything so now even when someone says, "Are those apples fresh?" or whatever, I gag slightly because I can hear the tortuous melody echoing in my ears.

Probably hundreds more.Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03617661053715127363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385523154268826980.post-50075452173110989262012-09-24T10:36:33.564-05:002012-09-24T10:36:33.564-05:00Unctuous.
