Thanks to my college roommate, Kathy, I get to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part one) TONIGHT! Someone in her family gave her preview tickets, and she invited me. It's appropriate since we went to the midnight releases of each of the books together. I hadn't expected to see the movie until Friday night, so last night I excitedly skimmed through the first half of the book as a refresher. It'll be interesting to see where they cut off the story. Even though the two-movies decision was probably solely financial, I'm glad the studio did it. There was no way they could do this book justice in one movie - nothing is really cuttable!
It puzzles me, though, that this preview is at the Wolfchase Galleria theater. Why not the Paradiso? I love the Paradiso. Yes, it's the most expensive theater in town, but it has the nicest ambience.
